ELIGIBILITY and USE OF FUNDS:
- Funds shall be used for projects that encourage and promote Community, Beautification, Enhancement, or Involvement in the Town of Kelvington.
- Annual distribution shall be at the discretion of the council, and occur after May 1 each year.
- Council may retain all or a portion of funds each year, at their discretion, to use towards projects that fall under the scope of this policy, or to place in reserves towards a larger project.
- Application can be made to the committee from June 1- April 30.
- Grants will only be awarded to those who provide proof of matching funds for their project.
- Applications will be reviewed and Allocations will be issued by June 30.
- The project must be located in or take place in the Town of Kelvington.
- The Town of Kelvington and the NMG Geck Estate must be publicly recognized upon approval of funding. Proof must be provided with grant follow-up.
