HUNTING & FISHING NEAR KELVINGTON

Kelvington is located along one of North America's major waterfowl migration routes, with excellent hunting for ducks, geese, coots and common snipe. The large areas of farmland and parklands, provide excellent upland game bird hunting for sharp-tailed grouse, Hungarian partridge, ruffed grouse and spruce grouse.

Anglers can try their luck in numerous lakes within a forty mile radius.

The most widely distributed game fish include: Northern Pike, Walleye, Yellow Perch and Burbot. Rainbow Trout can also be found in one of the lakes.

Catches in the past few years have been good to excellent. The fish populations are monitored and stocked regularly.
